  I hate hate hate hate to have a mammography but if I have to go I would recommend this place....I am very mammogramophobic- I don't like my boobs being squeezed out as flat as a blintz and then I don't like the waiting period to find out if my tests are negative or positive..I get nervous and anxious( as I have had several friends who tested positive for cancer). but anyway, it is evil necessary.
  
  You can park in the municipal parking lot right next door...it is cheap and convenient. You are greeted by some very friendly ladies at the desk who were very efficient and upbeat..You are then ushered into a little private undressing room where you get a pink gown. The atmosphere is bright and pleasant and almost spa-like.
  
  The mammogram technician was patient and apologized for squeezing the girls ..afterwards I was ushered into a small but pleasant patient lounge where there was water and cookies and fruit for the wait.Nice. But there was a video on called something like "One out of Eight ". It kept pounding on the idea that cancer is so very very possible.!! That one of eight women will end up with breast cancer.How nice .The other 3 patients who were in the lounge did't like it either.When the staff person came in I asked if she would please shut it off and she told me very nicely that she could not,they had to have it on. WHY?? to make us more scared?Who the hell in the medical profession thinks it is a good idea to purposely make the patient uncomfortable? Instead , they should be making margaritas or for us and letting us watch music videos or cooking shows or a funny video-ANYTHING except about getting cancer.
  
  I waited a long time ,maybe an hour for the next step ,I also given a sonograph. Again, the technician was great.She was pleasant and apologized when it hurt. The doctor who read my information was efficacious.
  
  At the end , I was handed a long red rose on the way out.A nice touch.
  
  As far as mammograms go ,it was a good experience.....except for the morbid video the patients are obliged to watch over and over and over again..just in case. we do. get cancer.

  The technicians are wonderful but I just have problems with the two Spanish receptionist, they are very rude and nasty. I had a balance due and this lady said it very loud and nasty in front of other patients that were there waiting. She has short hair and wears glasses.
